Family Ties, Family Resource Services was established to address child abuse issues, which encompass family violence, sexual assault, bullying and other children's crisis issues. Support services to empower child victims and their families to heal are paramount. Prevention, education and intervention services for children, families, schools, businesses, churches as well as community organizations are also in promoting change.
Family Ties, Family Resource Services is a Children's Crisis and Advocacy Center Located in Waller, Texas. The agency was founded as a Private Non-Profit Organization on February 28, 2007. Our agency serves Waller County, Austin County, and North West Harris County. The Family Ties Staff has more than 15 years of experience which includes a Licensed Professional Counselor, specializing in Victimization and Masters level staff specializing in Education. Family Ties, Family Resource Services provides an array of services that support families in building healthy relationships. Our services are divided into three main categories; Child Victim Services, Prevention Services, and Intervention Services.
Family Ties has served over 500 victims and their families through our "Just for Kids Victim Services" Program and expects that number to continue to grow as the Houston Area overflows into our rural communities.
