To provide homeless youth victims ages 17-22 with a safe home as they transition into adulthood, creating opportunities for independence and empowerment - mentally, emotionally, and financially.
This home has 12 private beds/baths with a common kitchen/living space. We provided services such as life skills coaching (cooking, cleaning, etc.), financial/budgeting, professional mentorship (teach office skills, resume building, interview skills, etc.), and counseling.
Mueller House began as part of Mueller's Helping Hand project, selecting Family Ties as the 2018 recipient of a 4,000 square foot building. This generous gift has evolved into a transformative youth transitional housing program for our community.
