One of the most important things you can do with your family, especially during uncertain times, is to build rapport. You might have only heard this word used when working with a team at your place of employment or even being a part of a sports team. Think of your family as a team, each person having a valuable role. Although some roles may have more authority than others, having rapport strengthens the team with mutual respect, empathy and healthy communication. Have you ever watched or been a part of a team without it? We all need healthy relationships that keep us grounded and a secure and safe place to be heard and understood.
